About Us
OUR STORY
We started in Copenhagen with a simple obsession: finding the perfect T-shirt. Between kitchens, pop-ups, long days and endless merch tees, we kept noticing the same thing. Most T-shirts were never quite right. Too flimsy, too heavy, cheap cotton, bad shapes, colors that faded after a few washes. So we began searching for the best possible materials and the people who treat those materials with real care.
That journey took us from German textile know-how to Uganda’s cotton fields. There we found something special. Rain-fed, long-staple cotton grown naturally and a community of makers deeply rooted in their craft. From Copenhagen to Kampala, our focus has stayed the same. Make the T-shirt we always wanted to wear.
ORIGINAL
This is our first cut. A clean and slightly boxy T-shirt shaped by function rather than trends. No tricks, no unnecessary details, no seasonal styling. Just a balanced fit, a soft hand feel and a timeless everyday piece. It is the T-shirt we reach for without thinking. Quiet, simple and made to be loved.
RAIN FED IN UGANDA, SEWN BY WOMEN
Our cotton grows the natural way, with sun and seasonal rain. There is no artificial irrigation and no need for intensive water systems. It rains almost every day in tropical Uganda. The cotton thrives in fertile soil and is harvested by farmers with generations of experience.
A few-hour drive, 350 km from the cotton fields the cotton gets processed and spun into
yarn and knitted into the fabric all in one factory in central Kampala. Each T-shirt is sewn by skilled women at the facility where they started out as an apprentice to learn their craft. And now earn stable income in long-term employment in an industry that has historically offered few opportunities in Africa. The result is a product with integrity and care at every step, shaped by hands that understand the material deeply.
UGANDA
Uganda is becoming one of East Africa’s most respected textile regions. The cotton grown here has a natural long fibre, which makes it soft, strong, smooth – ideal for premium T-shirts. Because it grows only with rainfall, its water footprint is significantly lower than most cotton worldwide.
We work with Fine Spinners in Kampala, a modern and socially responsible manufacturer
working across the entire production chain. From spinning to knitting to sewing, everything happens in Uganda. This keeps value in the local community and creates full transparency in how our T-shirts come to life.
